The String of Dolphins is a beautiful trailing plant. It is one of the easiest trailing plants to care for. The stems are thicker, which makes them less delicate. They grow faster which enables more propagating. The bananas don’t dry out like some of the pearls and their stems tend to.
Plant Care tips
- Lighting: These plants prefer bright indirect sunlight.
- Temperature: Ideally, it should be placed in the temperature range of 60° F to 80° F.
- Fertilizing: Feed monthly fertilization with a succulent fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Only fertilize succulents during the growing season, and don’t feed during winter.
Watering: Water only when the soil dries out. In summer, water the succulents every week or two. During winter, water infrequently—every month or even less.
