The elusive Ficus Benghalensis (Ficus Audrey or Banyan Tree) is the national tree of India and is hard to find amongst the nurseries of today's houseplants. If Audrey were a bird, she'd be a rare one, hidden out of sight and seen only briefly at certain times of the year. Free shipping all across the US!
Plant Care tips
- Lighting: Ficus Audrey prefers a spot where it will receive high levels of bright, indirect light or direct sunlight. This plant will need to be acclimated to long periods of direct sun and it will not tolerate low light conditions.
- Temperature: Ideally, it should be in the temperature range of 70° F to 85° F at all times.
- Fertilizing: These plants benefit from being fertilized every month during the summer and spring, and once every two months during winter and fall.
- Watering: The Audrey Ficus grow best in evenly and consistently moist soil, with small drought periods between watering. Ensure 2″ – 3″ inches of the soil surface is dry before you water.
