These plants are unique for the shape and pretty color of its foliage, Senecio mandraliscae (Blue Chalksticks) is a spreading succulent from South Africa with 3-4 in. long (7-10 cm), silvery blue, finger-like fleshy leaves and small white flowers in summer.
Plant Care tips
- Lighting: These plants prefer bright indirect sunlight.
- Temperature: Ideally, it should be placed in the temperature range of 60° F to 80° F.
- Fertilizing: Feed monthly fertilization with a succulent fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Only fertilize succulents during the growing season, and don’t feed during winter.
Watering: Water only when the soil dries out. In summer, water the succulents every week or two. During winter, water infrequently—every month or even less.
